I observe around me and in my office how breathless people can be, always projecting themselves into the future, the next project, the holidays in 6 months, the next trip…. We always have the head spinning. No wonder we are a society with a high rate of anxiety and sleep disorders. And we don’t take the time to live or feel what is happening in the present moment.
I was very interested in mindfulness. It’s so simple: stop running and take the time to observe what is happening within and around you.
Nicole Bordeleau says :
“When we are intimately connected to our senses and we are attentive and present to our experiences, the beauty and richness of the world are offered to us”
It’s as simple as feeling with all your senses:
By taking a walk, take the time to breathe the fresh air on your skin, smell the autumn smells, become aware of your steps, when you arrive home, take the time to enjoy the hug offered to you, the sweet words in the ear. I suggest you try it. This discipline would have positive consequences on the reduction of stress and on our health and makes us increase the energy of life and happiness.
