Tiago Alvarenga

Originally from Brazil, Tiago has been living in Quebec since 2013 and now communicates fluently in Québécois French. A licensed physiotherapist since 2010, he has also earned his black belt in judo and has been coaching young competitors with dedication ever since.

Tiago brings the discipline, focus, and integrity of martial arts into his clinical practice. He tailors each treatment to the individual, always striving for optimal results by fostering an active, collaborative healing process that addresses both the symptoms and root causes.

With over 15 years of experience, Tiago integrates a broad range of techniques into his advanced physiotherapy practice:

A lifelong athlete, Tiago is no stranger to sports injuries himself — from snowboarding and mountain biking to judo and running. These personal experiences enrich his understanding and empathy for the patients he treats.

In 2022, Tiago joined ABC Clinique Santé in Mirabel, and within just six months, became the owner of the physiotherapy branch. His team has since continued to grow. He also serves as a clinical instructor for physiotherapy students at Université de Montréal and will soon mentor physiotherapy technology students as well. For Tiago, professional advancement and education are essential, despite his busy schedule as a clinician and manager.

A proud and devoted father, Tiago is known for his exceptional work-life balance. Don’t be surprised if you see him with his kids at a park on a weekday afternoon — his children love having him present, and his patients admire him for it.

Tiago is also a certified spinal manipulations provider through the OPPQ and is authorized to perform dry needling in physiotherapy. As a member of the Laurentians Council for Sports Excellence (CDESL), he plays a key role in the development of young competitive athletes, proudly supporting organizations like the Dojo Blainville and FC Challenger Mirabel.
