      Spinal decompression uses controlled traction that can be applied continuously or intermittently, depending on the selected treatment parameters. Your physiotherapist will adjust the treatment based on your condition, symptoms, and tolerance.<\/p>\n

      Spinal decompression is not appropriate for every condition.<\/strong> Your physiotherapist will first determine whether this treatment is suitable for you and, when appropriate, incorporate it into a broader treatment plan.<\/p>\n

      What does a treatment session involve?<\/h3>\n

      When this type of treatment is indicated, a session may combine physiotherapy and spinal decompression. Depending on your condition, treatment may include:<\/p>\n

      • 30 minutes of physiotherapy<\/strong>, with heat therapy when appropriate;<\/li>\n
      • 30 minutes of spinal decompression<\/strong>, with parameters adapted to your condition;<\/li>\n
