They can be traumatic (following an accident) or of gradual onset. Most injuries treated in physiotherapy are orthopedic injuries. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Here are some examples of orthopedic injuries: <\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fracture<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sprain (lumbar, ankle, knee, etc.) <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">muscular injuries (elongation, contusion, partial or complete muscle tear)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">meniscus injuries<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tendonitis, bursitis, capsulitis<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">femoropatellar syndrome<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">neck pain and back pain<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">myalgia<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">concussions<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These injuries can come with pain, swelling, bruising, limitation of movement, inability to perform sport, daily tasks or work. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have one or more of these symptoms, do not wait before getting treated. Early treatment allows rapid recovery.
