Irene graduated from Dawson College as a physiotherapy technologist in 2023. She grew up in Hudson, leading a very active life from an early age. She began competitive swimming and dancing at the age of 5. Once she started high school, she progressed to sports such as volleyball, flag soccer and rugby. This gave her a good foundation to fall in love with training as an adult. After seeing a physiotherapist for a knee injury when she was 16, she was so fascinated by his treatments that she was sure this was the field she wanted to get into. Passionate about sports and physiotherapy, she obtained her first responder certification to follow local sports teams. Irene firmly believes that optimal recovery relies on teamwork between patient and therapist.
